I ordered a calamari and a chef's platter to munch on the drive. Calamari was freezer burnt garbage. More like deep-fried squid... Jerky. My dog wouldn't even eat it. The chef's platter was a 2 out of 5. It was fresh atleast but not cooked well enough. Iwould not recommend this restaurant. I feel sorry for the people sitting down to eat after I left. PA THE TIC! Last minute decision to get take out from Barrie Delight turns out to be shockingly good. Best Butter chicken I have ever had.... Korma is very different from what I am used to but still very good. Ever had a MOMO? Neither had I- Fantastic. The balance ofour order consisted of Chicken Madras, Tandoori Chicken, Daal Tadka, Saffron Rice and garlic Naan all delicious. I didn't want to leave a bad review. But after opening the rasmalai container and realizing it was spoiled, I have to. I... ordered dinner from Barrie Delight for the first time. It looked good, but when I tried, everything tasted exactly the same.And, sorry to say, but it tastes like dirty feet. I am still feeling nauseated. It was not cheap. The samosa has a huge amountof mashed potato inside, also tasting like the rest - same exact taste. Can't eat it. The "saffron" rice I doubt had anysaffron in it. Real saffron is very expensive (this rice was just over $6 for the portion), and has a distinct but suave taste.This was anything but saffron. Rasmalai: I was looking forward to having rasmalai. It's my favorite Indian dessert and I haveit often. Yet, even the rasmalai tastes like dirty feet. I had to spit it out. Rasmalai is supposed to be a delicate dessertin light sweet milk sauce. It's supposed to be very light creamy color, served cold. This one was thick, sticky, bright orangeand had an oily taste on top of that same feet smell and taste. May be spoiled. I had to spit it out. I cannot believe theygot 5 stars from others. Maybe family and friends. I don't know. I feel like I just threw away nearly $50.00. Read more
