We used Parkwood to cater our wedding reception. And we are obligated to give a truthful review. It almost ruined our ceremony.... The food was fine. The service was terrible. First of all, the caterers that attended us kept asking what was on the menu. Theymust have asked at least 5 times. My questions is, why did they need to know what is on the menu? The second thing that happenedis that the food was delivered through the main door during our wedding ceremony. The third thing that happened is before ourguests were done eating and before we had seconds, they removed the food. Then, they came to clear the tables while our guestswere still eating their cake. I had to personally hold on to my plate to keep my cake until I was done. Then, they cleared thehandouts that we had given our guests to take home and removed them from the tables. At that point, our guests thought that timewas up and began to leave. We were actually not done with our ceremony. All that be done and we started to clear and put awaytables and we asked for our food to tale home with us and we were told it was all to be donated. We balked and was given 1 maindish and 1 side. So the donation to whoever it was got about half of the food that we had paid for. We made a complaint toHeather and she turned the responsibility on us that we should have known that the food could not stay out 2 hours or it had tobe thrown away. She asked what could she do to make it right because she wanted to have it known that they take pride incustomer service. So we suggested to her to either give us the food that we would have gotten or reimburse us for that muchfood. It has been a week and a half and we have gotten no response from her. If you are considering using this deli we suggestthe following: Ask questions: (1)-How long can the food stay out? (2)-Tell them when you want the meal to start. (3)-Tell themyou don?t want caterers asking you what the meal is and they are not to clear the tables. (4)-Ask if y Read more

I have to say after following parkwood deli on IG, and seeing all the delicious food and Roger, the deli guy makes it does make... me want to stop in there and try it out myself. So I stopped in order a wrap with turkey fresh Mozz and the 4 corner along withthe cinnamon bun, I must say it was the best sandwiches I had eaten in a while, especially coming from Long Island. I must saythis I will be back to parkwood deli again, and everytime I travel to upstate NY or PA it's a must to stop at parkwood and sayhello to Rodger the Deli Guy, who is an awesome and great guy and I definitely will support his business. I?m not sure how I have avoided this hidden gem for so long. For 27 years I have lived within 4 miles of the Parkwood Deli. Had... never stepped foot inside. Although I had driven by passed it many times. That all changed recently. Last weekend I stopped bywith my family and we ordered sandwiches, the New Jersey Devil and the Parkwood. Stacked, delicious sandwiches that are veryfilling. Today we ordered the Grandma Pie and a plain pie. The Grandma Pie was terrific, as well as the plain pie. My wife?sGrandmother came from Italy and she said it was the closest to her Grandmother?s pizza she ever had. Parking is a little tightbut I would park on the roof to have that wonderful pizza again. Definitely going back. Parkwood Deli has spoiled me and myfamily from other pizza shops in the area. Two big thumbs up!! Read more
