I?ve been a long time fan of Big D in Mansfield. I finally got a chance to come here and had a good time. We sat at the bar.... Bartenders were attentive. I ordered the smoked old fashioned but something got lost in translation and I didn?t get it smokedfor some reason.\n\nIf you ate at the location in Mansfield, the menu is similar but there are some changes. The Mac and cheeseI thought was better in Mansfield with the sausage they add. This location has pulled pork and it was the best meat we hadtonight. The sausage wasn?t as good as I remember from Mansfield but still ok. The chopped brisket is always a good choicetoo.\n\nGlad to see this place with a bar in a good location. Read more

The bbq was good. The bark was dry, but the inside meat was very tasty. Good sauce. The corn casserole was ok. I will get... something else next time. The service was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The place was nice and clean and had a nice feelto it. Read more

The burnt ends were extremely smoky and dry. Sausage was cold. Mac and cheese was good. My friends brisket sandwich was fatty.... Took clients from work there for lunch that are not from this area. Kinda disappointed. This is a new business so hopefullythings will improve. I will go back and give them another shot in the future. Bar looked great. Read more

Lovely atmosphere!\nUnfortunately food was not good at all ???? and way overpriced. We love good BBQ and this is not it. No... smoke ring on the dry, hard, brisket. Ribs were tiny, anemic and dry. All sides tasted canned- the mac and cheese was definitelynot homemade and was smushy . Everything at best was room temperature, even the sides. This place has soooo much potential! Ireally wish the food was good. Read more

Love the atmosphere! Old brick building serving quality BBQ. I ordered the (3)meat plate which consisted of: Sliced Brisket,... Burnt Ends, and Pork Ribs. It came with two sides which I chose their Beans and CornBake.\n\nSliced Brisket- I requester Fatty(point) brisket. It had a great bark and was cooked perfectly. The fat was rendered well and was very moist.\nBurnt Ends- Thesewere traditional Kansas City style brisket Burnt ends. The sauced used on them complemented the meat well.\n\nPork Ribs- Thiswas a bit of a surprise for the area. They served baby back ribs, instead of St Louis cut. The ribs were super tender and rubhad a hint of chili flake which was a good surprised. I paired the ribs with their house spicy BBQ and they weregreat.\n\nCheesy CornBake- It was very tasty! They use 6-cheeses and jalapeno and it is baked like a casserole. It was verytasty and I enjoyed it alot.\n\nBeans- Their beans were some of the best I have ever had. Pinto Beans slow cooked with the rightamount of spices and sauce. It did have some chopped brisket mixed in which was a little extra bonus to the beans.\n\nOverall:Great find if you are wanting BBQ outside the metroplex that is good enough to give the big guys a run for their money. Thestaff were super friendly and welcoming and the food did not disappoint. Read more
