This is our first time here.... This is a lil gem in our backyard... Food was great. The only thing is that the smoked Turkey... sandwich should have been a hot sandwich instead of a cold one but other than that everything was awesome! This is my FAVORITE Smokehouse Restaurant here in Midlothian Virginia. The food is to die for, the atmosphere is lovely and the... Waiter and Waitresses are very friendly, their service is superb! Pulled into the parking area and smelled the wonderful aroma of bbq ! Unfortunately, all down hill from there. Ordered 2 meat... combo with beans and Cole slaw. The pork was tasteless with litterly no smoke flavor or smell. The brisket,....I orderedsliced. It was SOOO dry it crumbled when trying to pick up with the fork. The cornbread screamed of being 2 day old andreheated. I was so hoping this meal would take me back to the good ol days when the Broad st location was up and running. Read more
The food was fabulous!! The waiters were very stressed because they were short handed. The dining room was not very busy, so it... made us wonder why they were so inattentive. When we asked for a couple of boxes, we were answered with a grunt! It was myfriend's birthday lunch so we didn't make a big deal then. We never asked for anything once our meals were delivered. The foodcame from the kitchen quickly and was very hot! However, I was very disappointed in the rest of the service. I will thinktwice about going back. Read more
