This was hands down the worst meal I have ever been served in a restaurant. I got the special, roast turkey with the vegetable... medley, and the turkey was so dry, it felt like sand in my mouth. The portion of turkey was so small, at this point I'm thinkingI'm being punk'd. It came with this tasteless stuffing. I seriously think it was just hot bread. Nothing else. I asked forgravy, thinking it might help. It didn't. The vegetables had the consistency of undercooked pasta and were bland. Nothing hadflavor. My fiancee and his mom got the "Shrimp Dinner" which was just six pieces of fried, somehow tasteless shrimp. It was morean app. They weren't even given cocktail sauce, nothing. The food is garbage. Everything was so bland. There was salt and pepperon the table so, they DO know some spices exist. I had two bites of everything, and it was so gross, I couldn't continue to eat.I left hungry and mad that we paid $65. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Bad service and less than stellar food. When we asked the waitress what was on one of the sandwiches (the menu only had the... names), not only could she not tell us, but also couldn?t be bothered to find out the information. The mushrooms on thehamburger were at room temperature and the cheese was just-out-of-the-refrigerator cold. The actually burger was bland. The beefvegetable soup also lacked seasoning. This was a nice local restaurant for a no fuss meal. Service was good, food came fast, and the quality and price were good. We... were in and out in less than 40 mins, the price was only a few dollars more than what we would have paid at McDonald's. I gotthe roast beef dinner on a Sunday afternoon and have no complaints. Yes it's a little dated and it's not fine dinning but that'snot what they are trying to be either. This was our first time here and we would definitely stop again. Read more
