Menu for Original Gravity Brewing Co in Milan, MI

Has potential. Some pros and cons here. Their flight is 6 beers, compared to 4 at a lot of other breweries, but they only had 7... to choose from. Beers are halfway decent. Food is also really good, but not a lot of variety. Lots of wasted space though but ithas potential. The tables at chairs look like something they got from old American Legion halls, but that can be easilyoverlooked. Move the tables around and add a pool table and a dartboard and this would be a great place. Read more

The food was delicious (5 star worthy), however I was less than thrilled when I saw one of the staff members handling food.... Where I was seated I could see into the kitchen where one of the girls was shaving meat. During this time she paused to use herphone and pick trash off the floor. My issue was after picking up whatever was on the floor she then reached into the trash canpushing items down and then proceeded to go back to shaving meat without changing gloves. Catching the slices with the hand shestuck in the trash. It could have been a new trash bag for all I know, but even so.. a change of gloves would have been nicebefore immediately going back to handling food people eat. Excellent in-house beers, an instant favorite of mine. The food (mostly gourmet sandwiches) is actually pretty good, too. Lots... of outdoor seating. Highly recommended. Gotta have the 440 pepper smoker! Read more

We stopped in today for lunch and were delighted with both our beers and our sandwiches. We almost didn't stop because there was... no "hot food" on the menu. Be sure to give them a try. The sandwiches are excellent! Beer was very fresh and tasty. Well done. Read more

Had an interesting yet disappointing thing happen to me and the wife the other day while having lunch. Beer and food were fine... as usual. Our problem occurred when paying our bill. They always want a credit card even if having just a beer and sandwich. Aquick lunch. Anyway, gave her my card ordered our lunch letting her know I would be paying cash when we left. She did indeedaccept my cash including the tip. When I got home I checked my credit card app and she did remove our sandwich and beer costsbut apparently left herself a tip even though I had given her a cash tip. I called to ask for an explanation, she took some ofmy information and said she would call me back. Of course she never called back but this morning I checked the credit card appagain and guess what? Yep the tip they so conveniently added to my card was gone. Remember they removed our beer and sandwicheswhen I paid with cash. I have contacted my credit card company and filed a complaint anyway. I always tip and certainly don?tlike being scammed for one. It?s a shame in my opinion that a place I really liked to frequent has to behave in such a way.There are plenty of other craft breweries around and I plan to try more of them instead of the OG.
