5 of us went for dinner Sunday around 5:30. First time there. Service was extremely slow. Waitress was not friendly and pretty... much didn?t come check on us often. We waited about 45 minutes for an appetizer. Bruschetta was good. We got our meals at 7 pm.An hour and half later. My son got the Porketta. It was way over cooked, and looked like garbage, he couldn?t even eat it. Weasked what he could have that was quick. She said the Chk Parm takes 2 minutes. 20 minutes later he got it. I also had theChicken Parm. It wasn?t even that good. Seemed like it was just a piece of baked chicken, not breaded. This place was horrendous. Do not let these 5 star reviews fool you. I got The gnocchi and they were terrible, the ? house made... marinara sauce? tasted like Ragu canned sauce. The lemon and white wine chicken tasted bitter. Food is terrible, is it adisgrace to authentic Italian food and Italians from Italy like myself. It is mostly old white people who are here. Read more

After looking at the reviews for this Italian restaurant, I came to realize you either loved it or hated it. I decided to find... out myself, as Cafe Sorrento has been around for quite some time. We waited for a couple of minutes to be seated, but it was tobe expected as they were busy. Our waitress was Jennifer, and I thanked her for making our experience a positive one. The menuhad plenty of choices, even if you wanted something other than Italian. My husband and I will be back as they were reasonablypriced and had an abundance of menu choices which made it hard to choose. I give this place high ratings and suggest you go andtry them out, thier drinks were very pleasing also. 100 percent loved this place. Read more
