DISGUSTINGGGGG the rice tastes like chemicals the most disgusting taste!!! The teriyaki and spare ribs were dry and old!... Horrible! I tried to call to let them know and I was super nice calling to tell them the rice tastes like chemicals and it maybe dangerous to others and they hung up on me. Also the crab rangoons are literally straight cream cheese not a bit of seasoningno exaggeration. Read more
When looking for a place to eat we all go based off of ratings, that being said this place has a 4.2 star rating. I was looking... forward to trying this new spot( to me at least), After waiting for 45 minutes for my food when she said 25 minute wait, I wasgetting very annoyed. After receiving the food I was hoping the food itself would make up for the wait. Unfortunately that wasnot the case with this restaurant. When I got home I was ready to dig in, I had ordered crab rangoons, beef teriyaki, chicken lomein and spareribs. My personal favorite thing from a Chinese restaurant is crab rangoons, but I found these very bland andunderwhelming, the chicken lo mein was decent. But the spareribs were very hard to chew, over cooked should I say. The beefteriyaki was not worth the price for a large. I was very disappointed with my food to the point where I didn?t even finish it,not worth the 24 dollars I spent, It was worth trying but I won?t be returning. Read more
First time ordering here, never again! I was told 25 min, I arrived 30 min later and waited almost 10 more min for the food.... Mind you the place was dead on a Friday night so that says something there. SO I thought if the food is good no big deal it willbe worth the wait. Well that was not the case at all! The crab Rangoon has only cream cheese in it and nothing else. TheGeneral Gau's Chicken was battered and had no flavor. The rice was bland and also had no flavor. The egg roll was over cookedand the duck sauce was bland too! The only thing that was ok was the chicken wings and the prices are really cheap which is theonly reason I gave two stars. Been coming to Golden House for years it is a wonderful family run restaurant, I am very picky and have a lot of food allergies... on top of being a vegetarian basically I'm a pain in the ass but they never make me feel like that. Every time I go there withmy children they get my order right the food is wonderful and inexpensive, the women and her son who work the front are verypolite and kind also wonderful with my special needs child who can be loud and difficult at times. This is the only restaurant Iam able to take them out to dine in at because of how difficult my baby can be, they are very tolerant and understanding. Mybaby loves everyone who works there and they seem to enjoy her as well, it's just nice to be able to go out to eat and not feelawful and unwantred it really is a hidden gem. Read more

I usually won?t write a bad review based on food alone, because food is pretty subjective...but the food and sauces were pretty... bad, and that combined with the fact that we only tried this place based on the high ratings makes me feel compelled to add myown. The crab rangoon were better size than I expected based on the cheap price but they tasted terrible. The beef and otherdishes were severely lacking in flavor. Teriyaki beef had no teriyaki taste at all. The scallion pancakes and house special ricewere the only semi enjoyable items we got-but the pancakes came with some horrible sauce that I cannot even describe-definitelynot the standard soy scallion ginger deliciousness that they usually come with!
