One of the breweries on the Hunterdon County Beer Trail, this place is situated right by a picturesque creek. The staff were... great; super friendly and quick to take our orders and bring us alcohol. They do serve food at this brewery, and it's DELICIOUS.We ordered a watermelon and feta salad, a giant pretzel, and Reuben egg rolls. All fantastic. The alcohol was good. My partnerliked the beer and I enjoyed their cider. We'll definitely go back if we're in the area again! Read more
Descendants has the ingredients to be great but unfortunately wasn't on our first visit since it had been The Ship Inn. On the... plus side ... Atmosphere, lots of beers on tap, a solid offering of whiskeys and other liquors, and a reasonable selection offood choices. On the negative side, the two beers we drank had great flavor but both were unfortunately a bit flat, surprisinglysince they were from the tap. The other negative was the owner, who seemed irritated or perhaps preoccupied with something,which came across in her interaction with us. The bartender was friendly and cordial however. We'll try again and see if we canupdate with a better rating in the weeks ahead. Read more
