This is where you feel like you're so far away from the rest of the fast paced world. You walk in and you are immediately... greeted with a wonderful "Howdy" and treated like you are the next "Super Star" to walk inside this miniature Super Store! Withmore home-work & equipment supplies that you can imagine, there are lots and lots of every day supplies not to mention, wallcoolers that are stock filled with more varieties of drinks and so much food and snacks to select trom too. I think the biggestthrill was to try "Champs Chicken." An integrated full service kitchen and seating restaurant inside Marathon Station! Makesure you go before 3:00 PM as closing time for Champs is right then! Their homemade bone-in fried chicken tastes marinated andhas a delicious fried crust; very flavorful and worth the try I think. I know that I will be back again to this Champs Chickenand Marathon Station at 91 NC-Rt 9, Mill Spring, North Carolina 28756. What a great experience. Read more
