Just went there briefly for a few drinks on the weekend late at night. At the time they had an excellent band playing 80s hit... songs. Not sure how it looks in normal circumstances, but that night was pretty tight and crowded. Funny to watch some men andwomen my age still stuck in the 80s and acting like if they are in their 20s ????. Oh well, as long as they're having fun right???? Read more

Let me first start by saying the entertainment was awesome Carrie Ashton was very good and entertaining. That said it seams... like the owner who performed on stage as well is only interested in entertaining instead of focusing on the food side ofthe business. Half of the menu was not available although the waitress tried to make excuses. Not sure if we will go back. Read more

First and last visit to this dive. Beer was flat. Food was subpar even by bar food standards. A $10 cover charge which is... laughable for a place like this. Read more

Stars are for the super nice waitress! Otherwise, the restaurant ran out of what I had first ordered (which normally would be... fine but they told me they had run out of the chicken sandwich, but there was still chicken as I saw other people order it?) Youare also overcharged for drinks as they drastically under pour. I wouldn?t come back here, but thank you again to the serverthat I had you were very kind! Read more

This was my first and last visit to the Tipping Chair. We were a party of *22* throughout Saturday night, February 19th and we... were 12 for dinner. The food was okay ? typical bar food and *tiny* portions. The liquor is completely watered down!! Thepours were cheap, and it was *obvious* they were doing so. People that drink beer or wine are unaffected by this, and I suspectthat?s the majority of people. I understand that restaurants are struggling at this time, but the price gouging at The TippingChair is beyond. As we were having pre-dinner drinks, s staff person came around to collect the $10 cover charge and announcedthat we had to pay and order food. The menu does not contain prices, so I assume they make up whatever price they want at thetime. What really made our decision not to come back was the fact that the entire staff was constantly running after us to makesure we paid the cover or were extremely concerned over which tab was being used. It seemed desperate. Once the music from ourfavorite band began, it was a little loud for my 80 year-old dad, so I said I would take care of his drinks, and I walked himout side to his car. A server came running after us to make sure he paid. Of course when I came back in after 3 minutes and hadno coat on, yet again the person at the door was quite concerned that I had not paid the cover. The Tipping Chair must have alot of people ?dining and dashing? if not that, then I cannot explain the behavior except I really think that they are neargoing out of business; regardless, it was a huge turn off. I frequent places where I simply hand over my credit card to startmy tab, and I flit about inside and outside all evening without people chasing me. The Tipping Chair won this time as theydefinitely got out money last night. Unfortunately they aren?t thinking about having long term loyal customers. This is totheir detriment especially since we follow the band, and we *ALL* agreed that we will never set foot Read more
