Everything we had was really good - a bit too salty though. We try to watch salt having high BP and felt most dishes didn't need nearly as much salt. However, everything was fresh, from the chips and guacamole, to the tacos and beans & rice it seemed all house made. They even had veggie options for my husband and daughter who are vegetarians. The service was great too and restaurant was clean. We really liked this El Toro and hope they will stick around (and cut back on the salt). Oh and it's BYOB! Definitely worth a visit. We will be back. You will not be disappointed.

The meat was good, (however, by my scale it was nowhere near 1/2lb) other than that, we won't be local fans. The coleslaw was in with the meat, making it very warm. The broccoli salad was very dry. We got no chips for our dip, but no worries, it looked like slop and went in the trash along with the mac and cheese that had a horrible after taste and gave us both upset stomachs.

As a Texan, loved the tacos (ordered The Sampler) and salsa!!! The Tres Leches cake was more like Dos Leches, lacking in caramel or cajeta. It was still good though. Would have liked some strawberries or blackberries. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Fantastic fusion of barbecue and Mexican. The nachos are definition a shareable size! Make sure you order the guacamole, BEST I've ever had!!! My go to is the brisket cheesesteak. Melts in your mouth. The taco sampler is another way to find a flavor you like if you've never been here, all the tacos are fantastic. Super friendly staff, and great owners! Emily and Gabe turned the previous business's building (the Barn Door) into a great place to eat full of flavor.

Food wasn?t good. Just taste like ?white people trying to make Mexican food?. Was looking for authentic Mexican tacos. Chicken tinga just tasted like sloppy joes. Was very disappointed they didn?t have yellow rice. They served white rice with black beans. Rice wasn?t cooked. This is the only way I can reply to you. I wasn?t rude to my server. I?m literally a server myself. I appreciated them taking the soup off of the bill. I didn?t expect it. I would of gladly paid for it since i did order it. I also tipped her appropriately. It is not her fault I did not enjoy the food. It?s no one?s fault but my own. Today is my birthday and I was just hoping for authentic mexican tacos. My fault I didn?t know this wasn?t authentic. I should of tried the brisket instead. It seems as though everyone whom enjoys the food here seems to all order solely that. Also it?s very funny for you to be so passive aggressive in your response but preach for me to be kind. Last but not least, clean your tables and chairs. They are sticky and absolutely disgusting. I think it?s the polyurethane coming off.

Found this place accidentally. What a wonderful surprise! Ordered a few items, everything was seasoned beautifully with the right herbs and spices. The presentation of the food way appealing and the service was attentive. We are definitely going back to this hidden gem.

My wife and I have been dying to try this place. We purchased a local flavor deal at the beginning of the year and were finally able to use it. So here is a recap of our takeout. - We ordered online and it said 20-25 minutes. We chose to order ahead about 35 minutes out. They called us and said it would be closer to an hour for a quesadilla and chips/meat cheese dip. - The associate didn't want to take out local flavor deal. We finally talked to the manager and the manager said the associate was in the wrong. - I have had better quesadillas from taco bell. - Not sure if the dip actually had beef in it like they said. Wasn't that good. And it definitely wouldn't have been worth the face value of 22 dollars. We will not be going back.

This place is awesome! The owners have created a welcoming atmosphere. The menu is varied and the food is delicious! Both times I've been there we had great service and mouthwatering food! Reasonable prices, too!
