Beautiful campus. Great education. A local college with a truely hometown feel. The streets and grounds around campus give it... more of a park feel than a college campus. The swans and the pond make for a great walking destination on a nice day. All thesports fields are in pristine condition. Flower beds and trees always beautiful. The buildings range from some of the oldest inthe county to very modern. The new dorms and library are state of the art. The school really strives to make sure students aresafe and happy. Read more

There are plenty of positive things about this establishment, but sadly, they just don?t outweigh the negatives. I really... sympathize with the students who felt belittled by professors or unassisted by them because they just like to wave their PhDaround and say ?read the syllabus?. My advisor was one of those people, unfortunately, and it ultimately made me change mymajor. That?s my biggest issue with the professors. Furthermore, the police department is just a joke. I contacted them twice,once for a stolen purse and once for a parking permit. And they belittled me, berated me, and spoke down to me as if I were thebiggest inconvenience in the room. I will not be going to them anymore. Lastly, when the white supremacy group came to MU andhung posters about their campaign, the school told everyone the pictures of the posters were photoshopped and that we are justthis pristine, diverse school that couldn?t possibly have any of that? do NOT come here if you?re looking for diversity. As agenerally liberal school, we are pretty closed minded sometimes. Ridiculous. I?m only in my second semester, and I?m hoping itgets better. Read more

I had a good experience. The food wasn't bad, there are lots of jobs available for students - particularly in dining. My... business professors, and some other departmental professors, are awesome, and I still keep in contact with many of them and seektheir counsel. I feel I got a good education for a more fair price than other schools. However, I don't think it was necessaryto replace all the old dorms. In fact, the process ruined many's experience during the years of construction, as fences andwhat looked like war-zones replaced the quad. And, I hear prices are only going up and attendance is not keeping up. Greatschool, but I think reforms need to be made and it would be wise for the administration to seek the counsel of the businessdepartment, which has years of experience and wisdom. Read more

I am in my fourth year at the University and I can say I have no complaints what so ever. Every faculty member I have had class... with have been nothing but great and my department has some of the best people around. It is nice to have faculty know you byname rather than just as another student, which is why I chose this school over the larger ones for my field. Everyone on campusis a friendly face and they make you feel nothing but welcomed. There has been a ton of construction while I have been here,however, this school is improving and has such big plans for the next couple of years to really put themselves on the map. Giveit another year or two and Millersville will be improved and even better than the four years I was here. Read more

Millersville University is an amazing student focused school where the staff truly do care about their students. As a transfer... student, I was a little worried about how smooth my transition to Millersville would be but my worries were soon put to rest.Within two weeks of committing to Millersville, I received an email from an advisor assigned to help prepare for the comingsemester. She was nothing but extremely helpful. The students are overall extremely friendly, the campus is extremely safe andbeautiful. Coming to Millersville was one of the best decisions of my life.
