Raney Cellars is off to a very strong start. It helps that they took their time in opening and are focused on quality beer and... not distracted by trying to run a kitchen. The owners are so welcoming and excited about their new venture. They are alwayshappy to talk about their new beers. Today they have a fantastic barrell-aged stout among 10 very good beers on tap. Expectplenty of seating, TV's so you can watch all the sports and free popcorn. They have a ramp for accessibility, a great deck forspring through fall and a food truck so you can soak up a couple more pints with some great food. Millersville is on the map. Wehave a taproom! Update: The beer is consistently excellent and the new outdoor dining space is fantastic. Outdoor beers andfood truck grub even on the hottest or rainiest days is such a treat. This is a brewery I will be revisiting! Dropped by today, unfortunately only had time to stay for 1 round. We had Dankity Do-Da... #9 and Peach Tart. The NEIPA was so good that I thought I was in New England. I was legitimately bewildered when I stepped backoutside, took a deep breath of the crisp farmland-manure aroma, and realized I was still in central PA. Read more
