The food quality has gone down. Our bacon was really crisp (burnt) never got water I had asked for when they took our drink... order. My daughter ordered a side of bacon and it came with 3 strips of bacon for 4 dollars. Not a bad place it's clean andfriendly, but food isn't that good. Read more
First time there this morning and I'm very happy this is close to my new place. Great food, super nice staff and it's a thrift... store/ breakfast place so there is interesting stuff all over the restaurant. I'm terrible with names but I think Amy was ourserver, she was rad. Read more
Best local diner in the area. They're always friendly and accurate. I've never had a bad experience there in several years now.
I love supporting small business. This very clean little mom and pop diner w/small thrift store items for sale. It was very... quiet upon our arrival, no people, no music, silent. Just when we thought they may be closed we were greeted by a waitress. Shewas very hospitable, nice, and answered my many questions. 1. Is the green chili vegetarian? No, lard. 2. Are the beansvegetarian? Yes. Do you have salsa? Yes, but, in a packet, not fresh. I wouldn't think the country gravy is vegetarian either,but forgot to ask, it's traditionally made with chicken stock. Anyway, the questions helped w/my ordering, I ordered the huevosrancheros, no green chili. It was okay, the hash browns were a little greasier than I would prefer. The salsa packets, not good.Hubs had a basic breakfast, eggs w/cheddar, (you should specify, or else they use American) bacon, hash browns, and frenchtoast. His french toast was burnt on the outside and smooshy on the inside, sadly he didn't say anything, and ate itdisappointed. We also ordered beignets and a cini mini. The cini mini was a small cinnamon with icing pancake and it wasdelicious! The beignets weren't authentic, in the fact that they were more dense biscuity, instead of a light and fluffy, like aFrench style pastry. Overall this place was decent and worth dining at, there was a small crowd before we left, still no music(which I found bizarre). They could use a few minor improvements to really make this place pop and be more mentionable. Naturalmaple syrup, fresh OJ, salsa, and no one time use plastics, ex. straws/bags and styrofoam.
