I like the place - have been coming here for years. Lately the food quality went down a bit. #2 on the menu had too much... ligaments in the meet. Still decent place for casual dinner. Read more
I?ve been to their competitors as well as their sister franchisees in LA. This one is old school (first franchise in North... America) and still is the best. They give u so much beef and food that u do NOT need to add extra anything. Come early onweekends. Waits are more manageable now. Read more
Went today with a friend and overall a good experience. Food was fairly priced and tasted pretty good. I ordered the pepper beef... Udon and I liked the portion size and the flavor was nice. One critique I have of this restaurant is the lack of seasoning orsauces to put on the food. I've been to similar restaurants that serve sizzling noodles and rice and they had a variety ofsauces and seasonings that you can put on your food to make it even better. The complementary miso soup came with noodlesinstead of tofu and seaweed which was odd, but tasted pretty good. The customer service was really good. Overall a decentexperience. Read more
Tried the udon this time and enjoyed it more than I thought I would! I recommend any of the sizzling plates. Their sauce is... interesting though--tasted like a mix between teriyaki and bbq. Came for a chill weekday lunch. #1 hits the spot with garlicbutter and teriyaki sauce :) Read more
