Laziest employees I think I have ever seen. Waited for 15 minutes to not get served after the bartender was sitting there... looking at us for more than half the time we were there waiting. Read more

I forgot how good Wisconsin burgers are. I grew up near here and came back to visit, had a burger and a beer on the way out. The... service was prompt and friendly, the food was excellent bar fare (I got a burger and sweet potato fries), and the prices werecheap. The only downside is the space in here, a bit cramped for my liking but in a small town like this that's pretty normal.But the hamburger was worth the drive; not sure if it's just WI meat or this place in particular but it was like if chocolatemousse was a burger, delicious and smooth and cooked to perfection. Went there quite a few times for trivia nights... a good mixed crowd. Clean place. Sports bar, dinner table atmosphere. Everyone... has their nose in their phone sending/receiving text messages... etc...etc. Thought it was trivia night, not see who can Googlethe answer the fastest night. Makes the atmosphere kinda MEH. Week after week after week all summer the same team wins. That'sfine. Not the bar's fault. I'm not as smart as the internet. Tried the food various times here and there... MEH. I've seensparrows eat more. Soooooo... this was a while back though. Have seen and heard the bar's up for sale... new ownership... a fewtimes... new management... etc... etc... maybe this time to that time this person owns it, or that person bought it back or??? Idunno? On the in between of all that, each time... we would make reservations or call to pick up fish. Just terrible. I dunnowhat was worse; the wait, service, food, atmosphere... meh. Read more
