One of my favorites. Gluten free arepas and empanadas- though I personally prefer the arepas. I have never been disappointed... here and continue to come back and order take out on the regular. So. So. Good. Read more

I visited the 3rd Street location this evening and was really excited to try this place out as I have heard really great things.... However, I was very disappointed by the service I experienced. The cashier person ?who was obviously a student because she waswearing her school gear? had a very unpleasant attitude. My sister ordered first and wanted to ask if she could swap the beefempanadas for chicken in the mini empanada order but before she could finish her question the cashier rudely interrupted her andsaid ?no you can?t switch? with an obvious rude attitude. Now I understand if you can?t switch which is fine I work in the foodservice industry and sometimes orders aren?t able to be customized for various factors. However, the way the cashier girl rudelyinterrupted the question and gave no explanation was very disappointing. It then came for my turn to order and I ordered achicken arepa. The same girl asked for my phone number and when I gave it to her she apparently did not catch it ?which Iusually try to make sure when I give my number for whatever reason I make sure I say it clearly? In this case she didn?t catchit but instead of asking nicely what my number was again she simply repeated a number and gave me no indication of where she didnot understand and looked at me like I should have read her mind. I then restated my number and gave me a look as if I was crazyor if I was telling her something she had never heard before. I once again restated my number for her and she rolled her eyesand continued to mumble to sign something on the screen. Of course it was for tip and I gladly choose ?No Tip?. As I mentionedbefore I work in the food service industry and manage a restaurant and no matter how bad of a day I?m having I would never givemy customers this type of experience. Now the food was decent and I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more but this experienceruined it. I know the owners care for their business as I have heard really good things b Read more

These arepas are delicious. The avocado salsa is tasty and always fresh. The beef (shredded) is tender and flavorful. Great... gluten free meal option. Friendly staff. Read more

Solid gluten free option. I have Celiac and need to have gluten free food that won't be cross contaminated. I have eaten here... twice and didn't get sick either time. I go with the chicken arepa and my husband goes with the chicken empanada. The best partof the arepa for me is the plantains. Their texture is different from the chicken and beans and is a welcome change. Thechicken is well seasoned and overall the sandwich is tasty and safe. We always hit this place up when we go to the 3rd Streetmarket. Read more

I went to the location inside of 3rd Street Market Hall on a Monday at around 2pm and they were out of every flavor of empanadas... except for chicken, so I got two of those. The sauces were good as well as the empanadas. The seasoning of the meat was welldone. Pretty greasy, but tasty. Read more
