Wow! Say it again Wow! Company gave grubhub for working the weekend and I had to spend it before it expired so i went outside... my preference for mediocre calzones found in the area of the country and which by the way has no Ricotta cheese in it and I amfrom New Orleans and they always have this as a base but Rosati's does not so I went out and searched and found Sal's! My newgoto! Freaking taste of garlic and freshness and hugeness of the calzone is awesome and theybput ricotta cheese as a base! Suchflavor and freshness! From a picky eater this is awesome. Their pizza is by far the best one I?ve had. My choice was the BBQ chicken. The slices are a nice size. The sweet and tanginess... of the BBQ compliments the well seasoned chicken. The crust was perfect in thinness, not to crispy not to soggy. The flavorswere on point. The little bread knots are cool, I think they should add a flavor bomb in the center of it that?ll melt insidewhen they cook and burst in your mouth when you bite into it. Pizza was good and they had fun flavors. The ambiance is cool as they let you graffiti the walls and my 6 year old loved... this! We went on a Friday night and the staff were really friendly and seemed to have the place pretty clean. They were cool wmy little son and he thought that was so great. Read more
Excellent pizza, excellent price. Whenever I'm in Milwaukee, I try to get over to Sal's for their lunch special. Two slices... of pizza, garlic knots, and a soda. I skip the knots. I love New York style pizza and it dose not get any better than Sal's. Great price, Great taste, Great Value. I Highly recommend. Read more
