Biked to 5-8 Club, got there and there was a nice bike rack which I'm not used to living in San Diego. Anyways got there and... ordered the Saucy Sally and an order Fulton Lonely Blonde. For the first Juicy Lucy in Minneapolis that was a great first JuicyLucy. The fries that came with it were also really solid. Drove over here after deciding I didn?t want to sit in a multi hour line at Matt?s. This place is not a dive bar like Matt?s.... You can bring kids and families here. The Juicy Lucy burger I had was very good. I?d say it was the best I ever had but it stillplays 2nd fiddle to Columbus Ohio?s Thurman Cafe?s Thurman Burger. Solid burgers, good beer, and fun decor. It has been longer than I can remember since I have been to the 5-8 Club and I am... sorry I have been away so long. My wife wanted a Juicy Lucy so we made the trip and I am glad that we did. The burgers weredelicious, the beer was cold, and the service was top notch.
