Delicious! The service is outstanding, the drinks just keep on coming, the food is delicious and I honestly can't say... enough. THE BEST GARLIC FRIES in the Twin Cities. --------------------- Update: Highly recommend the tartare, the lamb, thesteak, the tres leches cake and the fries. They no longer do the garlic fries but the fries are still on point and I coulddrink the garlic aoili it's so good. We've been coming here for 3 years and it's still a super chill intimate place withamazing food and great service. The menu can change whenever they feel like it (they print it the day of and can even customizeit if you have a special celebration) so you never get bored! --------------------- Post pandemic update: still a great placewith delicious food and service. MY FAVORITE restaurant in Minnesota. Food is always delicious and bursting with flavor. Had multiple birthday celebrations here... for myself and my friends.The owner is so friendly, especially when we took our kids here for dinner. OMG, we were here on opening night, all those years ago. We have rediscovered Cave Vin after coming back to Mpls. The food,... quality hasn't diminished. I think we have re-found our new go to restaurant. Service is great, servers are attentive andfriendly. Read more
Been wanting to try this place for a long time. I love French restaurants. Unfortunately there isn’t much for French food on... the menu but the owner did say if you book ahead they can pre-order escargot and they serve it out of the shell in what I’msure is some great garlic buttery yumminess. Service is exceptional (we had Andy) and they personalize the menu which is fun. You can tell the Caesar salad dressing is home made (very good). Great mussels and steak tar tar. Not a fan of sirloin beingserved with the steak frites. Not much flavor to that cut but it was cooked perfectly with a very nice outside sear. Fritesand aioli were great. Nice light desserts as well. Wine menu wasn’t extensive but gives you what you’d need (besides aBordeaux) and it’s affordable. Read more

This unsuspecting gem was an exquisite dining experience. With a party of 4, we practically tried everything. There is an... amazing wine selection that the staff is informed on and we had an exquisite paring. All of the food was amazing, truly a feast.Come hungry. We did not have room for dessert, so we had both and we do not regret them. I highly recommend this restaurant andthe owner is just absolutely wonderful.
