An unassuming little joint just east of the often written about Mexican restaurants on Lake St. The Lake St. corridor has so... many decent Mexican dining options that I find it hard to believe more will get into the game. Every time I visit Mpls I go toa different place to get tacos with my daughter. Ended up here by chance and almost missed it in the bright sunshine and shrubsthat kind of hide it in plain site. Had to peek in the window to see if they were open and lucky for us they were. A one womanshow (at least at the flat top grill) taking orders and serving fresh mouthwatering food. 4$ for a carne asada taco is on thehigh end but the size of them made you feel like it was a good deal. Chips and salsa were ho hum but that seems somewhatcommon. Their was a taco truck out front so they must also be mobile and the space inside maybe seats 8 to 10 people. I likethe place. Simple menu including a couple breakfast items. Mexican sodas as well as coke products available too. Enjoy! Read more
