I always felt this place deserves more customers. Not saying the food is better than every other restaurants in town, but pretty... delicious to me. They often have seasonal dishes, especially sea food, that?s hard to get from elsewhere. Very fair price too.I?d come here all the time if I didn?t live so far away from it. Read more

Don't overthink this if you landed here because you're looking for someplace different to eat. And definitely don't delay dining... at The Cajun House. JUST GO! Your existential gourmand soul will be condemned to eternity in British Breakfast Fare Hell if youdon't. I was totally surprised about a combined Chinese and Cajun cuisine restaurant when I found out about The Cajun House. Iwas invited to The Cajun House to celebrate the important Chinese lunar holiday, the Mid Autumn Festival. I thought it was veryodd to have our feast at a Cajun restaurant this year. WOW! What a FANTASTIC combination of such apparently differentcultures! We ordered the biggest seafood combination meal on the menu: 7 pounds of mixed seafood, peppers, potatoes, corn,etc., cooked in a "Gumbo Revolution with Chinese characteristics." ???? We also ordered one of each appetizer, severalindividual dinners such as whole, fried lobster, crawdads, mussels, clams, and too many others for me to recall now. I am so happy this place turned out good!!! I was reallyyyyy craving Cajun crab legs and crawfish, but needed a place where my... very white husband could also eat. The 3.7 average rating worried me, but it was totally worth the risk. I ordered the 3seafoods combo, but should have only ordered 2 because I was already getting full from my pound of crawfish. I chose mediumspice level, but wish I chose mild (I like spicy food, but can't handle that well even though I'm Asian). I could power throughthe spice and still very much enjoyed my flavourful meal! My combo came with two corn and three potatoes in the bag. My husbandordered beef lol mein. The portion sizes were good, especially for the price. Would highly recommend!!! Read more
