Had egusi with goat meat. Order kpomo/cow skin but it comes on the side, 3 dollars per piece. Egusi was oily, like too oily.... The goat meat was chewy, pieces were way too big, not cut to enjoy with eba. Kpomo was abit too hard. I recommend African Deliat 6930 Brooklyn Blvd #13, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429. More variety of meat, cleaner, meat cut well well, food spiced right. Read more

I’m giving this place a 2 stars mainly based on their poor customer service. My boyfriend placed an online order for pick up.... The order was ‘confirmed’ via email , payment was processed & said it’ll be ready at xyz cool. He goes to the place andthey tell him that there’s no order for him & that they are not taking online orders (but their website still up & working) &that the prices online are different vs in store. ($5 total price difference). So, instead of him just paying the $5 differencethere or honoring us the online order they make him place a whole new order & pay again & that the online order would berefunded. Making things more difficult than it has to be but ok. Fast forward like a week later he calls them asking about therefund & the person on the phone is saying his order was never confirmed and it should of been refunded blah blah. Hangs up onhim. He calls back and they just keep hanging up on him, don’t know what he’s talking about & ignoring his calls. At thispoint I’m pretty sure he won’t be getting his refund and just robbed us. Just a poor way of handling the whole situation. The food was actually good. loved the jollof rice but won’t be eating here again unfortunately. Read more

I will say the first time I got food from them Dated 2 years ago. I really like it well cook to perfection and affordable. Well... 3 years later I went and everything was expensive plus the taste went bad. This isn’t acceptable. Don’t make me starting with the Soya is just completely tasteless lot of hot pepper that is all. Read more

It was less than okay. I’m sorry but I loveeeeeee some potato greens, and I have it multiple times a month. This place... LITERALLY had a slab of beef fat/bone and a small piece of what I believe is chicken in it. The potato greens also were ALLSPICE no flavor and they don’t even ask what spice level you want. Just rediculous, and my kids and I love spicy food and thisjust tasted gross. The samosas were okay. Again all spice no flavor but the crust was good so that’s why I’m giving twostars. Don’t even get me started on the soggy a** chicken. It was almost a grey/pink color on the inside and my guess isbecause it wasn’t done all the way. I did throw it in the oven to try and at least salvage some of a 30$ meal. Never goingback. Read more
