I?m going to have food poisoning. How do you give people raw chicken?!? I ordered 4 meals. All 4 were wrong. I said no rice just... cabbage and plantain. All 4 had rice and peas and no cabbage in sight. Two of the meals were curry chicken. The chicken wasliterally raw. HOW?!??? Read more
They give you a lot of food and it is extremely delicious. We ordered 2 curried chicken entrees and 2 Mac and cheese sides and... have so much food we have an extra meal and probably will still have leftovers! I was scrolling through uber eats for a Jamaican Restaurant and came across Island Tings.For the first time ordering from your... restaurant/catering service/business establishment,i was very much disappointed.First & foremost they messed up my order.Ispecifically ordered two curried chicken with white rice and oxtail gravy.But instead i got rice and peas with curried chickenand no oxtail gravy.Which was not what i ordered.Second of all,the rice and peas was very hard like it had been sitting aroundall day.Instant turn off!!The curried chicken lacked flavour and was not seasoned properly!!Another instant turn off!!I wish icould give zero stars......but that option is not given.I'm really,really disappointed....... It was not an enjoyable meal.Meatsmelled kind of raw like it wasn't washed and cleaned properly.When i took a bite out of the chicken the chicken was raw on theinside and had blood very visible.Once again huge disappointment.The jerk chicken didn't taste all that wonderful either.I willnot be purchasing anything from Island Tings again.Such a huge and great utter disappointment.
