Talk about finding a hidden gem. We are one of those guru Lakshmi groupies, who have suffered the wait times that goes along... with a dinner at GL, but no more. Annalakshmi was delicious. The food was scrumptious, also we were hungry. The chutneys wereyummy, the sambar was good, but the quantity seemed too little. We ordered butter garlic masala dosa (yum!!) And onion tomatochilli uttappam. My husband finished up the uttappam before I could get a picture. It was very liberal with the veggies(yum!!). We also ordered masala chai and madras coffee which was probably the best drinks I've had in any Indian restaurant.Highly recommend everyone try them if you go here. 1* less for sambar quantity, otherwise it was perfect 5* experience. Thewait staff was also very courteous and friendly and made changes to our meal as per preferences. Read more

As a weekend getaway, me and my friends were planning to go out for lunch. And the first recommendation we got from our friends... from Mississauga was Annalakshmi restaurant. They recommended the restaurant mainly for their wide variety of delicious dosasand other delicious veg dishes we only get experience from back india. As starters, We ordered chilli parota and medhu vada plates and it was awesome. Chilli parota had such dense flavour????Butter garlic dosa was so delicious and was the best so farwe ever had. Butter paper dosa also did justice to its name and had that crisp to it. I had their poori with chettinadu kurmafor the first time and loved it. That chettinad Kurma had the perfect spice level and flavours to it. To top it all, finally hadtheir madras coffee ??. Such delight. Along with such awesome food, I would like to make a special mention for the greatcustomer service. Got all the items on time and they were all really friendly. Me and my friends are for sure gonna recommendthis restaurant to all our friends and to who ever visiting Mississauga. Read more
