Located on the edge of the golf course. They have their own garden and source most of their ingredients locally. Very attentive.... Doable menu and drinks list. Altogether comfortable. Not really visible from the street. But know that if you see the hugegarden they are located right behind. Read more

The staff and service was very good ??, but my IG Club was the worst sandwich I ever had ????. It must have been made the day... before. Bread was so stale it fell apart with each bit. And the meat was dry. Now my 3 guests were happy with their meals. Ishould have sent it back, but I sucked it up and eat it in silence. Last time I will go there ???? Read more

We would highly recommend the Iron Griz. The food & customer service was exceptional. For the appetizers we ordered the fried... green tomatoes. Our main course was the Shrimp & Grits, followed by Binets for dessert. The flavors, presentation, service &value were outstanding. It's lovely to go to a restaurant for dinner and not be disappointed. The servers even went the extramile with creativity & fun to put a little sign on our table "Nice Table". Thank you for a wonderful evening! Read more

Good service, friendly staff, excellent food. One of the best burger spots in town. The Cajun fare has been good. I miss the... fried gator though. With the revolving, seasonal menu, I'm always excited to see what they'll be serving next. Read more

Never in my life did I ever feel so unwelcome! Our party of 6 had a reservation for 6:30. This was all of our first experience... at this restaurant. It was maybe 30 min later we realized we were the only people there. You would think that meant the servicewould be good, right? The service was terrible!!! The menus never left our table, we had to constantly ask the extra plates andcups to be cleared. The food took so long and it came out COLD. So why do we feel so unwelcome? Although the service wasmiserable the company we kept was enjoyable. It was 8:00 and the Resturant was calling for ?last call? and turned the lightsdown to signal it?s time to go. The Resturant doesn?t close until 9:00 PM. So we stayed and ignored the single. It was close to9:00 when the restaurant started filling up with the servers FRIENDS. Everything became clear?.it?s Saturday, get out so we canhang with our friends. Someone owns this place. Someone is paying these people. That ?someone? should know what?s going on. Read more

We ordered the fried Green bites and they were ???? so good, along with the Captains platter and the Fried Green BLT were both... really really great dishes as well flavor galore. The crawfish were completely bland but im Louisiana born and raised so no onedoes it right outside of Louisiana. The soft shell crab and shrimp and fried crawfish tails were so freaking good tho! Noproblems with service and just a beautiful view from the patio! Read more

Nice relaxing view of the first hole at the University of Montana Golf Course. They have craft beers and selections of southern... classics like Etouffee, Po? boys and more. I had the Shrimp and Grits and it was amazing! The service was very good withseveral people checking on us throughout our meal. Read more

My husband and I stopped in for lunch after trying to find a restaurant with a nice patio. The Iron Griz did not disappoint. The... patio overlooks the University golf course and it's quite gorgeous. We had Jen as our server and she was super friendly and veryhelpful. She told us they try to source locally and a lot of their veggies come from the UM garden. We ordered a couple of beersand some fresh straight out-of-the-fryer chips, with truffle salt. Wow, they were tasty. I ordered the taco trio and my hubbyordered the Griz burger --it had an egg on it, how cool is that!?! It was good, but he said he would add another patty next timeto make it even better. The tacos were tasty, but I think I would like to try something else from them because it all sounded sogood. We got two desserts, the tear drop hazelnut cream brulee --it was just as yummy as it looked. I would say it tasted morelike a mousse than a cream brulee, but that's just me. I could eat that every night. It was scrape-the-plate good!! We also gotthe fresh baked cookie. It was so cute in its little cast iron skillet. It was served with a scoop of Big Dipper vanilla icecream on top. I think a bit of hot fudge would've had me swooning. We will definitely come back for more. Read more
