Very disappointed in my experience, I ordered the house burger and fries, the burger had next to no flavor and was sloppily put... together. The fries were definitely sitting around for sometime due to how cold they were. Definitely wasn?t worth the$20!!! I?m not one to write reviews but it was really that bad. Worst food I?ve had on the road year to date!!!!! Five guys or afast food chain would be a better option if you?re looking for a decent burger. I'm compelled to proffer five stars (something I typically reserve for extraordinary food) because of the combination of good... food and extraordinary service. Initially, I had specified that a food allergy required the exclusion of one ingredient, so Imight try a recommended sandwich. This, after being declined a hamburger as I had ordered it: "we can't serve you a rarehamburger..." "Okay, tell me what sandwich you'd suggest." Several minutes after all others at my table had been served theirmeals, a server arrived with a sandwich I hadn't ordered, explaining that this was an alternative, since the kitchen couldn'trisk serving me "something that might contain butter, cheese or milk." I was mystified by this, since I had never indicated anallergy to butter, cheese or milk. My food allergy to the Initially declined ingredient had to do with a preservative oftenfound in that specific ingredient. Meanwhile, I was being served a sandwich other than what I had ordered, without any priorconsultation. I turned down that dish...politely, of course. In a few more minutes, a gentleman arrived tableside (the manager,chef or owner, I guessed) to ask what he could do. I explained that my food allergy had nothing to do with dairy products and hekindly returned with the sandwich I had ordered...a sandwich that ultimately proved exceptional. Thereafter, our already goodservice was nonpareil (look it up) and we completed our meal both satiated and impressed. Impressive customer service and great food! I have multiple food intolerances and simply asked one question to which the... owner/manager as well as the staff asked follow up questions and advised me on which foods would be safest. They were all verywell educated on allergens and seemed genuinely invested in me having a good experience. Additionally it was raining outside andI witnessed the owner/manager help people come in and out of the restaurant with umbrellas. Such kind hearted people. And thefood was wonderful! Read more

Brandani's = Our favorite place to dine in the Sugar-Land/Mo.City area. They have two restaurants at the same location right... next door to each other, one being casual and the other upscale. i.e... Brandani?s Burgers, Tacos & Brews - or - Brandani'sRestaurant & Wine Bar. My wife and I find ourselves eating at the Burgers, (etc.) several times a week, sometimes for lunch,sometimes for dinner. That's how much we liked it. But... pick either one for a first-rate dinning experience. They are sodifferent from the chain restaurants and lunchrooms around town. We just love them. The owners, managers, and staff are soaccessible, polite, and helpful ? and the food's great. It's just a high-quality experience all around? The best way I candescribe Brandani's is that it?s a little bit like if you were out shopping for a car and you test drove a bunch of noisy,clanky skateboards, and then got in the seat of a more refined ride ? You can immediately tell the difference. I think it'sabout comfort, fit and finish, and quality materials. That's the best analogy I can give you. I'm pretty sure that my wife andI are not alone in our opinion. People come there because it is conducive to conversation and relaxation. You actually can holdcourt and not have to struggle to be heard, even if its a big table full of friends trying to discuss whatever topic-du-jour.There is no loud blaring volume of a TV or music trying to force you out the door. It?s comfortable. Everybody there iswell-behaved: Moms and dads, Nana and Papa, and grandkids will all sit around the table ... and the whole scene is just pleasantas all get-out. Good friends will meet there in the afternoon and set outdoor at a table and sip wine or what have you. It isjust that kind of place.
