The service was nice but the food was horrible. We asked for ranch and got Mayonnaise. The ketchup looked dark so that was not... appealing. Everything that was fried was fried in the same batter so there was no differentiation in taste. The crawfish wasfrozen, so they lied about that too. Will not be returning even if the service was nice. The food needs to be updated in a majorway. Read more

I ate an evening meal with five other adult co-workers at the Sugarland/Missouri City TX area cafe on Oct 10, 2022. The seafood... our group was served was obviously NOT "freshly prepared"; the fried outer batter on the oysters AND the catfish fillets wasextremely dry and crunchy, and the insides of the battered seafood was still cold, when the food was initially brought out toour table by the server. There was ZERO cooking oil (from being freshly fried), on ANY of the seafood items. It seems to me thefood had most likely been either pre-cooked leftovers from previous days of meal service, or was simply pre-packaged foods being"warmed up" prior to being served. In addition, our group of only six persons was each individually charged a "Service Charge"of 20% EXTRA on our respective food bills, BEFORE the chance to determine a "gratuity Tip" for the wait staff. When we askedabout the "Service Charge", we were told by the waitress the charge is "standard for groups of six or more". (I guess a familywith four children gets to pay a "Service Charge" for having "too many kids"? ) When we all stopped to really look around, werealized we were the ONLY customers in the entire place during the entire meal service, during what is typically consideredprime time evening meal service! I guess that should have been a clue for us, as to the expectation of food/service qualitybefore we ever entered the cafe and sat down at the table to place our food orders. I will NEVER go back there again, and I toldthe serving waitress exactly that, as I paid my overcharged food bill! Customers beware!! Eat there at your own risk. You'vebeen properly educated in advance! Read more

This was my second visit. First time we got boiled shrimp and egg tolls. Shrimp were tasty but boiled too soft making it... difficult to peel. I stopped by and ordered again on Saturday 5/14...egg rolls, wings and combination shrimp fried rice.Everything was tasty but we realized today that there was no crabmeat of any kind in the rice as described on the menu!!Couldn't take a pic as evidence because not enough rice was left. Next time, I will have them open the container before I leave.3 times the charm! I'll give them 1 final chance!! Read more

The blue crabs were pretty good. We also ordered fried shrimp, crawfish, fries & egg rolls. Service could be better though.
