I always take the chance to eat at Lydia's when I see their truck. The food is fresh and the only thing better than the food is... the service and smiles you get from the ladies who run the truck! Read more

I gave this place a try, due to the great reviews, but it resulted in disappointment... I bought 2 orders of buttery shrimp(12... total), which would of been fine if it didn?t cost about $20. So you?re basically paying for an entree when in reality, it?s anappetizer. In addition, the taste was sub par. I gave it an extra star because the lady taking orders was really nice. Read more

Today I ordered from Lydia's Grill and Catering. First things first, the service was excellent, having someone walk around to... you to take your order with a smile is always a plus. Now to the good stuff. I ordered the Grilled Pork Chop plate, with a sideof Eggs, and home-style potatoes. The first thing I tried were the potatoes, they were really good, they certainly remind me ofthose Saturday mornings waking up to mom cooking breakfast. The taste of the bell peppers really shine through. Next I tried theegg, another plus in my book. I asked for over medium and that's what I got, a perfectly seasoned and nicely cooked egg. Finallyto the pièce de résistance, the pork chop; the first thing you will notice is how succulent and juicy the pork-chop looks. Thekeyword here being "looks". After cutting into the chop I was met with a bit of an overcooked hunk of meat. With that being saidthe flavor is on point, I would just have to ask for it to be a little less cooked the next time. Overall I will give Lydia a4/5 for this experience. I always say, "I will try anything at least twice"Who knows, next time it could be a 5/5. Read more
