We went here as part of the Scots on the Rocks festival. That place was hopping and we expected a long wait on our food, but it... came surprisingly quickly. Excellent service in the bar area for food and drinks. My family loved the dry rubbed ribs. Didn'tneed sauce. They were that stand alone. Do yourself a favor and get the brisket. Nice and fatty, perfectly seasoned and so good! The pulled pork was good as well, but... that brisket hit the spot after a long ride. I wasn't completely impressed with the coleslaw, but it wasn't awful. And they alsohave root beer on tap. Read more
I ate here my first night in Moab, the bar is in the back. Karen was my bartender and she was fabulous. The beers were ice cold... and the BBQ was pretty awesome too. The ribs were fall off the bone delicious. They have five different sauces, my favs were theHot and the Mustard. Pulled pork was delicious too and the Mac and cheese was pretty dang tasty also. First thing that I'd like to say is that they charge their BBQ at very very reasonable prices, unlike the other restaurants that... sell ribs/brisket in town with double priced. Then, about food: I tried some spare ribs and brisket. I ordered flat for thebrisket but got point cuts (never mind). They were cooked nicely: tender and delicious. Ribs were not that higher standard offall-off-the-bone yet they were still very decently cooked. Brisket was well trimmed and flavorful -- perfect bark and smokeflavor. The only thing that I could nit-pick was the seasoning. They were a bit light seasoned (seems to be Carolina style?),so I had to add some sauce. Personally I prefer Taxes style's S&P well seasoned BBQ, eating without BBQ sauce. But that's not areason at all of not trying their BBQ. Service was also warm and perfect. Read more
