A Very Pleasant Experience. The Food was Tasty and served quickly. We did the Scotch Egg for our Appetizer, Fish and Chips for... the Entree, a Slice of Key lime Pie for Desert. Our Server was Awesome and kept our Drinks topped off and checked on usregularly. I think this is one of the Best places to eat at in the area. Read more
I have visited O'Callahan's Publick House 6 to 8 times prior. Something has changed with O'Callahan's; they don?t have the wide... selection of drinks/beer over the bar like they did prior visits. We really enjoyed the Calamari but it?s longer offered butthere are other apps that are good. I usually get the corned beef/cabbage and my wife gets the salmon. Initially nice cuts oftender corned beef, with flavorful cabbage, carrots, and potatoes were offered. Just this last week when my wife and I visitedthe corned beef was sliced into 1 in wide strips and tough. The whole plate was very bland and no carrots. The young teenage boymust have been new; took 13 to 15 min to get drinks. Looks like a whole new group of employees; a lot of businesses have beenstruggling with turnover. My family of 6 visited this evening, and we all ordered completely different types of menu items. Everyone said it was... absolutely delicious! I personally ordered the Chicken Alfredo , which was sooo good and better than any version I?d hadanywhere else by far! Was really disappointed with today's experience. The wait staff was very inattentive and not caring. We had to ask for... silverware and napkins. Our waitress seemed as if she was more interested at hanging out at the bar than taking care of the 3tables that were seated. Food was so so. We?ve been here many times and enjoyed it every other time except for today. May giveanother chance in the future. Probably not though. Read more
