I?m really not a good reference for sushi. It?s not my favorite but my fiancé loves it and really like this place. I had the... chicken gyoza and the teriyaki roll. Pretty safe choices for non sushi eaters. We ate inside and it was fast and friendly. Inthe warmer months eating outside is really nice too in the back. I think in the area this is the best place. It was one of the best sushi experiences in Modesto. Have to really pick what you know you'll like but at the same time you can... choose something new. Great variety and taste. Very colorful. I ordered about 6 sushi rolls for about $65. It was so convenient to order them over the phone and pick them up. The rolls I... enjoyed the most were the Texas, Teriyaki, Shrimp Tempura, and Spider rolls. They all had tasty sauces and tasted delicious!! Ihighly recommend these rolls. The Rain roll did not taste good because of the raw tuna, which had a mushy texture and oddtaste. I also ordered the Philly roll. It's very thin. It's a nice snack.
