Most of the food was excellent. We had 4 appetizers, 2 salads, 2 entrees and three drinks - for about $105. Seemed reasonable.... Everything was good to great except the fried brussel sprouts. The breads and spreads are excellent. Steak tips excellent. Crab cake excellent - except I would get the sauce on the side next time. Shrimp pasta excellent and lettuce wedgeperfection. Second visit we had the Greek salad, pepperoni pizza, focaccia sampler, oil poached swordfish and again the lettucewedge. You see they changed the presentation of the lettuce wedge - disappointing. Besides that everything was excellentexcept the focaccia sampler. One piece had whole pepper corns and one piece had overpowering mustard. During a time when most restaurants quality is hurting which I assume is due to short staffing and short time in that position. ... We had a delicious dinner and the server was great! The honey glaze chicken was very flavorful and the salmon was cooked... perfect. To finish it all off, the dessert couldn't have been better. The atmosphere was great and the place is very clean. Itwasn't overly crowded. We were seated right away. Hey folks, I’ve heard really great things about your place, but last night did not live up to my expectations. My chicken on... my salad was incredibly dry. My date’s beef was cooked well beyond what she ordered. The bar service was really slow and wenoticed people standing around behind the bar when we were waiting on our drinks. I will say our waitress was very sweet andattentive (I think her name was Michelle). All things considered, it was an expensive dinner for Beaver County and I know youcould and should do better. It was a nice enough place, but the food was just okay. When I ordered a beer from the decent local craft beer list it came to... the table in an unopened can, particularly odd when you're expecting a draft. Staff was friendly and the service was prompt. TheI had a bowl of chowder with my sandwich. The sandwich was fine but the chowder was pretty thin, like maybe it was overheatedand broke. Not a bad meal but not great either. I wouldn't go out of my way to return, but I'd say give it a shot if you're inthe area. Probably more lively later in the evening. Read more
