Well, this was a random pick for my wife and I today but a welcome gem! We wanted pizza and decided we had not heard nor tried... Pomodori. When we arrived we had in our minds a more formal sit down restaurant. You order at the counter and they bring thewood fired oven pizza to your table. Utensils and other items like plates and olive oil are self serve. As is busing your trays.Not what we were expecting but LOVED the pizza. Great crust and sauce. My Spicy Italian was fantastic. Our first and last time. Placed our 2 pizza order and drinks. Four customers including us 2. 20 minutes later, no drinks, tepid... pizzas. No utensils, no plates no drinks and no one cared. Had to go up and ask. All this when all we could see is the staffeating at their station. Drinks delivered by a staff member from the "back" and she stated she had no idea what was going on upfront. Pizza was good , service...thumbs down We were in around 6 pm and our number for our table was 35. It wasn't a take outorder. Pretty authentic, thin crust Italian pizza cooked in a wood fired brick oven, delicious! Beer on tap.
Their pizza is incredible. The dough has the perfect chew to it and the toppings are so tasty. The Cherry Pom Pesto is my... personal favorite - their pesto is out of this world. They also have some great beer on tap. The service has always been topnotch, and the restaurant itself is kept impeccably clean. Read more
