Giving them 4 stars because of the pleasant atmosphere and kind service I received when I visited a few weeks ago. Personally, I... was not a fan of any of the items I did sample (all sides). Still, I may return to try the fried fish or chicken and give itanother shot. Nonetheless as a fellow Black woman, I will continue to share this new restaurant with my neighbors as a form ofsupport. This place is excellent!!!\nSo many sides to choose from. They change their menu daily So there is always something new to... try. While we waited for our food the owner brought us samples to try.\n\nThey are family owned! You feel like you?re sittingdown at home for a traditional dinner. I will be back!!!! Ommmmmgggggg?? this was definitely worth the long drive. They even have kool aid ?? oh so good. I tried the majority of the... sides annnddd maaaannn they were good. I don?t even like green beans and sweet potatoes but after having Soul Gems?? I will onlyeat theirs. They have fantastic customer service?.. they make you feel really welcomed. This was a delicious experience the fish is season to perfection and each bite is tantalizing. The Mac and cheese was just the... way I like, this place name is correct. I work down the street and decided to stop for dinner. I was greeted by the two most beautiful young ladies that are the hands behind this tasty soul food.
