Don't get me wrong, I'm generally a big fan of generic, Americanized Chinese food places. That said this was far from my... favorite experience. The best thing about my meal here is that it took like 5 minutes to order and get my food. Past that, I wasfairly disappointed. I ordered a lunch combo with fried rice. The fried rice was just rice with brown coloring; there were novegetables or chicken or egg in it that you typically find in fried rice. My General Tso's chicken was coated in some sort ofsauce that was like no other General Tso's sauce that I've ever had before (mostly sweet and sour sauce with a little adjustmentperhaps) and I'm pretty sure it was just microwaved and poured over the chicken. The best part of the meal was the egg roll, butthat was obviously just a standard frozen egg roll; not something house made. I was the only person in the restaurant, so Idon't think they mixed up my order or the kitchen was overwhelmed to possibly explain that I received something other than whatI ordered. I won't be returning. I'm only giving 2 stars because I was really in the mood for an egg roll and that part wasflawlessly executed. Fantastic food. Great unique Chinese food, unlike 98% of the Chinese restaurants that all taste bland. Highly recommend them.

My husband found this place that reminded him of his favorite childhood Chinese restaurant. He talks about it all the time. I'm... insecure of no other woman but my timbers shiver when I see the shine on his eyes when he's talking about taste of china. Read more
