I recently stopped at this little food spot secluded next to a lake n dam. My friend ordered a burger which was great but... alittle on the small side. Drove out the other day..they've definitely gone downhill since last year. Person taking our order had zero customer service... skills, couldn't hear orders, doesn't know menu options, and STILL messed up order after saying it 3 times. I got the Texas spicy chili. Flavor was fantastic but no beans no meat, just chopped onions. It was either the bottom of the pot... or server forgot to stir before dishing up. Wish I could try it again due to the wonderful flavor but will never be coming thruagain. Read more

food is good but our burgers were wrong, two out of three were supposed to have bacon and only one had it, there was tomato on... my burger i didn?t ask for & i was over charged and when i asked for a refund they recharged me again, i already left before inoticed my bank was double charged for something i didn?t want or receive so that was annoying. I finally visited this place. It's been on my list for a while. It was good but overhyped. The Zoar burger is a decent burger.... I can't say is was the best. A Bubba burger is probably better. The meat itself was decent quality. Definitely better than anyfast food joint, but not by much. Five Guys is probably better. The best thing about the burger is the bun. It was banging! Itmade the whole presentation something to truly enjoy. If you are in the area and want a good burger that is not "fast food"please give this place some love. BTW. The chili is SPICY. Even the mild version. I liked it. Overall, I can't say it's the bestburger in CT, but it is VERY good (especially the bun). I want try the seafood next time. I reccomend stopping by. Read more

OMG verry upset I haven't been in so long I couldn't wait. Then I couldn't eat the bugar.. They put so much salt on it I took 3... bites and threw it out. Cheese wasn't melted 2 big onion slices 1 small slice of pickle and it was supposed to be quterpounderthe roll was bigger than the meat. . The pastrami and Swiss was good but again more bread than meat not worth $7. Update I didcall the owner today very nice guy he is going to give me credit for the hamburger that I have to throw out.
