My family and I always love coming here after church on Sundays. The fried chicken, potatoes and gravy, and shrimp etouffee are... delicious. Not to forget their desert is to die for. I am looking forward to coming back again! Read more
Haven't been to Piccadilly in years, today I stopped by and the food was just how I remembered it delicious, hot and fresh. The... staff welcoming and friendly. It was very warm dining in due to the air conditioning was out, one of the staff informed me thatit had been out for a couple month. There were fan blowing but it was just pushing warm air around. What has happened to Piccadilly? This is the second time I've visited and the air has been out. None of the tables are bussed... and the line people are rude as well as the wait staff. Today I witnessed the most disgusting behavior between two waitressesand a what I assume was a manger or supervisor. All were screaming and hollering at each other about who is working whatsection and she didn't tell me she was back from break and the other threatening the other and the manger cussing them both.Right there in the middle of the restaurant. I asked them 3 times while they were fighting for silverware and none would evenacknowledge me. When a girl finally came up she said im not your waitress but can I get you anything. What a shame. I guess their air was broken. It was very hot inside. I was sweating while eating dinner. Food was okay. Most people working... there were friendly, but there was one who seemed like she didn't want to be there. I felt bad asking for food. The bathroomswere not in good order and were pretty dirty. The okra was really greasy... as if the oil wasn't hot enough when it was dropped and it wasn't drained properly. The gumbo was okay, but nothing special, thepickled beets just tasted like vinegar, barely any sweetness at all.
