Great spot out of the downtown fray and with plenty of parking. The fish is lightly battered and perfectly cooked. The fries and... clam strips nice and crispy. Great meal at a reasonable price! The owner Bruce and his son Hunter offered great and friendlyservice. Read more
Born and raised on the Gulf coast, you appreciate a good seafood restaurant. Since moving to WA state 5 years ago, I've not... found any that made me homesick like this place does. Stepping into this once residential house converted to restaurant, you'retaken back to a time of warm familiarity, with visible regalia of a true blue collar nautical eatery. The lack of blaring TV's,fancy decor, or technology for that matter, really do make you feel like you're eating in someone's home and not a soulesscorporate restaurant. I dined amongst strangers, but this mom and pop place felt like family. I listened to stories, andwatched kids color as I dined on lightly fried cod, tangy ketchup,and seasoned fries. This place felt like the many "fishshacks" I dined in growing up, but it's not a shack... it's a home... regardless if it's converted to a restaurant. The roofheld many memories of the lives before, and I hope it continues to hold memories for many more customers to come. What a greatplace to visit, eat delicious fish, and feel like family. The best fish & chips in town!!! The last time I got a good fish & chips was in England and this one has added to my fav list!... I'd recommend this to anyone who love fish & chips. The owner is very very very friendly and nice. I was tempted to order a ClamChowder, but afraid it was gonna be too much, so the owner gave me a free sample. It was too good to be true.
