This place has an EXCELLENT cheese steak sandwich. The meat was super tender, beautifully seasoned with just the right amount of... chopped onions, and peppers. The roll was super fresh and the cheese was melted nicely into the meat. They absolutely nailed itwith this sandwich as all the ingredients were perfect and it was piping hot. This was WAY better than some of the tourist trapcheese steak joints I've tasted in Philadelphia. I'm going to also say it is the best cheese steak I've had in Northern NJ. Ialso had their very tasty beet salad which has a bit of garlic, olive oil and a slight hint of cinnamon in it alongside thebeets and marinated onions with a dash of parsley on top. Their mint lemonade also features a bit of rose water in it whichaltogether tasted wonderful. The staff here was great, the place was very clean and the manager on duty was very cordial andsuper patient. I witnessed him very professionally accommodate an extremely unreasonable and just plain miserable customer thathad the ugliest attitude. My hat was off to him doing his best to deal with the unreasonable abuse this woman threw at him andhis crew. At one point it felt like it was a movie featuring a clownish stereotypical mean old lady in really bad makeup thatthinks she's entitled to everyone bowing before her. I actually added even more to my tip after watching them be soprofessional even when suffering under the mistreatment from this one sole customer. I'm looking forward to returning here manytimes. Absolutely delicious!!! They really do a fantastic job with the food here. Everything is really well made and seasoned, is... presented beautifully, and comes in very big portions. Amazing sandwiches and wraps and the salads look like colorful works ofart! The baba ganoush was so good and the marinated eggplant salad is some of the best eggplant I've ever had! So unique anddelicious. I love walking in and seeing all the freshly made spreads and salads in their case too and getting things by thepound to go. Can't wait to go back to try the whole menu here! My favorite walk to Deli in upper montclair. Excellent wraps, salads, smoothies and convetional sandwiches for takeout. Dining... in is an option, but that fills up quickly. Couple of outside small tables on the sidewalk. Definitely better than "just a deli"a step up in flavor and choices. Our family likes the Caesar Salad w/falafel on top, Mediterranean wrap and the fries are nothalf bad if you want to splurge a bit. Read more
