This is the first time my wife and I go to a healthy vegan Chinese restaurant. The menu is full of some great favorite dishes... and also new sounding enticing dishes. Would of loved to have tried them all. We ordered the Veggie Heaven Roll, Crispy JumboShrimp & the House Special Fried Rice. They were all delicious, the shrimp had somewhat similar look as the tea thing. Of coursethe texture was not like the real thing but that?s not what we were looking for. It was very tasty and when we?ll with the restof the dish. The ambience was nice and quiet, service was very attentive and you can?t go wrong with the prices. The most delicious place on earth. The menu is so confusing at first because you can?t believe that everything there is actually... vegan. Light and good quality, a unique experience for sure! This place is all vegan, and you can tell. When you leave, you'll feel... energized rather than bloated. Everything was light and seemed to be quality. I started with a green tea, it was decent and nottoo bitter. I had the Hunan dumplings to start, and I really liked them. The sauce resembled a Pad Thai but lighter. They had anelement that was almost spicy, but never because hot (if that makes sense) - it just made me want more. I got the Ting Ting TwoFlavor for an entre. I liked the flavors; they resembled a general Taos classic sauce texture. The cashews on tops gave a nicecrispy texture, and the veggies were steamed perfectly (not too soft). The service was really good, the server filled my waterevery time it got half full, which I thought was really nice. Parking was a bit tough, but hey, that's Montclair for you. Pricewise, it wasn't bad, especially the appetizers. Would definitely revisit! Overall, I give Veggie Heaven a 4.3 out of 5,definitely worth checking out. Read more
