So sad this place burned down spring of 2021. I've been waiting patiently for the re-build, they said they were rebuilding. It... will never be the same, but hoping the products (sauces and spices) are. Good food and music as well. They do have a lil shedlike building out back but it's only open on weekends. Read more
We stopped in for lunch during our stay at the Lodges and our server Emily was awesome! She was so hospitable & answered our Q?s... about Southern food choices (we?re from New England!). She is the true definition of Southern charm & hospitality, oh mygoodness! We also bonded over the fact that my sister in law (with me) is also named Emily, so we had an Emily trifecta! Lovedit! We love to come here to see Brandon Green perform when he's in town. The motel rooms are better than the cabins in my opinion.... The bathrooms do need to be updated, but the rooms are nice. We have stayed in the small cabins 3 times and 3 times in the 3bedroom cabin. The Jacuzzis are nice but both have roaches. The food at the patio is good, but the salad we got there last nightwas not as good as it used to be. The seating outside the motel is nice and overall a good experience at this place. Opens at 6:30 am every day. Closes 9:30 pm Sunday -Thursday, 10:30 Friday & Saturday. The breakfast buffet is $8.95. I'm not a... fan of scrambled eggs so they brought me out fried eggs for no extra charge. Good service with lots of sauces, jams, jellies,marinades that you can take home with you. And you can't leave without stocking up on their handmade fudge. And for the darkchocolate lovers, don't miss their dark chocolate fudge. Usually available Valentines day into March.The gift shop has aneclectic variety that puts Cracker Barrel a run for their money. Sad to say that the restaurant burned to the ground earlier in2021. Drove an hour and a half to try out the barbecue. Atmosphere and hospitality was a 4, however the pulled pork tasted like it was... cooked in a crock pot. Not that smoky flavor we were expecting. I was informed that they smoked their pork off site. Read more
