I normally go to the Zankou Chicken in Pasadena and I know that location has great food. Since Montebello is closer to me I... decided to give it a shot. Not the same. My family and I were disappointed. Food took long to get served. Food was cold. Otherpatrons we're complaining of the wait time as well. I'm not sure if the workers were just having a bad evening. Hello everyone. Zankou chicken is some amazing chicken. I recommend the half chicken combo. This place is popular, so get here... early before lunch and dinner. There's plenty of parking outside, but spaces fill up quick. Staff is friendly, and will helpexplain menu items for first time visitors. This location sells Spanish style salsa (Picodegallo).
