What makes a HK cafe unique? HK style milk tea is absolutely the number one. I like the taste and texture of their milk tea, the... best I have ever had during 6 years since I moved to LA. You can ask for refills! We had breakfast combo including HK Style bunwith butter, steamed flour roll with dry shrimps (highly recommend the sesame sauce on the side), and pork and preserved eggcongee. Thought I'd try this place out, the first time I went the rice was dried out because it was close to closing, however the food... was delicious so I went back again, let me tell you, it did not disappoint one bit. Food quality as usually, not so busy for lunch time after covid. Will return for authentic Cantonese food.
Phone order for clams and black bean sauce which I was craving. Order was efficient, just not the friendliest on the call or... pick up. Anyway, food was packed well and tasted pretty good, which is the most important part of it all. Definitely happy Itried it and will be back, just probably won’t eat inside, which if fine by me.
