BEWARE! ROACH INFESTED!!! This restaurant appears to be clean. However there was a dead roach on my table. I asked the waiter... if I could be moved to a different table instead. The waiter ignored me then proceeded to take my order. I moved to a tablemyself, and the manager came to the table then jokingly stated ?roaches are all over Montgomery? IS THIS A JOKE? The pad Thai has changed officially. First it was very inconsistent and the chefs just can't get it together to agree on how it... should taste. I personally think it's the #1 choice for Americans and new Thai food eaters to even try and to provide this newand not improved flavor it's going to slowly bleed out the business. Ala Thai East used.to be a great Thai restaurant. Now, the meat is not marinaded long enough, the noodles don't have enough... sauce half the time and they don't care. The coconut milk is cheap quality. I understand we all have to change things, but thenew management has ruined this legacy restaurant. They go for cheap. Of course, they increased prices. If you complain aboutgas hikes....this is far worse. Sadly, the original cook left so that makes it even worse. Read more
