Menu for Ginza in Montgomery, AL

Ginza used to be a 5 star place. The new management tanked one of my favorite restaurants.

One word for the entire experience, underwhelming. At 1:30 pm, the place was basically empty. I thought it may be a slow day,... as it happens and they close at 2:30 to prepare for the dinner hours. One server, who gave us our drinks, two cokes. It was twoglasses of ice and two cans of coke. She came back one other time to take our order and and deliver food. Never saw her againuntil the check. The food was... plain. The only thing with any flavor was the meat. Everything else lacked taste to me. I haveno experience with this place before its remodel but I can honestly say it seems like it was better before this. Just your generic staff. You know, the usual, "hello" and "what would you like to order". The food is okay. If you aren't Korean... and don't eat much Korean food, then it's gonna be good. But if you are like me and eat Korean food every day and lived inKorea, it's not the best. They also forgot my oder as well. But hey, at least the atmosphere is good! Read more

The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was pleasant. I can't wait to see how they are doing once the remodeling is done!

My family and I ate here for my Birthday dinner. We reserved a table for four, although it was unnecessary since the restaurant... was completely empty at 6pm. The atmosphere was great and the sushi, Udon and Habachi food was fabulous (be warned that the pokeis insanely spicy). Unfortunately the waitress we had was too busy goofing off with her coworkers and playing on her phone toprovide us with even the bare minimum of customer service. However the Sushi chef waited on us like we were old friends, so muchso we gave him the waitress’ tip. Read more
