Had the Pad Woon Sen and was NOT disappointed! This was not just good for a small town Thai place, but it was good for ANY... place! I was wildly impressed with the quality and taste of the food, which has just the right amount of flavoring to bring outthe flavors of the noodles, chicken, and vegetables without drowning them out. Service was a little slow, but at the time it wasjust a 2-person shop. I look forward to my next trip to Monticello! Read more
This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem in a small town that mostly serves American food. So far we have eaten here twice, the food... was excellent and so was the service. There?s always background music that is soft, serene, a good way to enjoy your meal alongwith a cold Thai tea. I?d like to see this restaurant in California, and give those other Thai restaurants a run for the money,very authentic and priced right! Read more
Staying in a nearby RV Park for a couple of weeks, I was very skeptical on the previous reviews of this location. Hard to... imagine great Thai food in such a small, remote town like Monticello but that is exactly what it was. The food and service isexcellent and very authentic. We have been twice in the past week trying different menu items and have been excellent. The onlydownside for me is that they are still serving all dishes in "to-go" containers (a covid thing) even if you eat in, but itcertainly doesn't take away from the quality of food and service. This place is amazing in many ways. They are in what appears to be an old steakhouse, so it is quite an experience. Old West... theme and authentic Thai food. They aren't doing the sushi currently, that was disappointing, but the food was amazing. Thisrestaurant would succeed in downtown Salt Lake. My only critiques are the bathroom wasn't great (but that was sort of part ofthe experience ????), and the portions were just a bit small, but for the quality absolutely worth the price. Read more

People there are very nice. Rene will be running the place very successfully some day if she chooses to. Food is good and... portion size ample - but don't tell them "Thai spicy" unless you know what you're talking about.
