I just left the place after I got one expresso..the girl asked me if I want single ou double I was wondering why she asked that... question I said expresso short should be clear enough..coffee overpriced then paying by card I asked to take off the tip optionthen one off your cook start to tell me we are no in France here meaning I should leave tips I think I was not appropriate forhim to make this comment then hi start to argue with me....very uncomfortable situation anyway I left right away. Beautiful café & restaurant on Mont-Royal East. The wait staff was friendly and the decor is gorgeous. Went in to work remotely... during the day and found that it was a great spot to work. Had a latte and a smoothie, both good. Will be returning to try outthe food! Read more

Cramped, and somewhat deceitful in its marketing. I expected a café that is also a bookstore, but it really is a restaurant... (you get seated and are expected to be there to order stuff) for parents with an area for the kids to go read. You can buy booksbut they\'re for the kids and the space is designed for them and full of them, this isn\'t a bookstore for adults, it\'s arestaurant for adults with books for kids to leave their parents alone while they eat.
