We had a phenomenal dinner at Chefs Table this evening. The food was an experience! Everything was so delicious! Our service was... wonderful! Out waitress was so great and knowledgeable and sweet, she was just fantastic. I had a gin tea drink that was soyummy and my duck was to die for. Had lunch here for my birthday and it was the perfect experience. The service is outstanding—very attentive without being... overbearing. The food is a wonderful blend of flavors and textures, and we got the ideal wine recommendation. Since this is anewer restaurant, it’s possible to dine in without feeling crowded in and rushed. And I appreciate the extra space betweentables (something of a rarity in Old Montreal and very much welcome). This is the place to go for a leisurely meal where you canrelax and enjoy every bite. This place is a gem, and we were so happy to have discovered it! From the impeccable service (by a team that clearly wished for... & were thrilled by our enjoyment), to the artful presentation, to the spectacular food itself, course to course to course (withwine pairings) was one delightful surprise after another. Desert, served by Madame Le Chef herself at our table, was THE perfectfinishing note. In short, dinner at Chef's Table was one of THE best experiences I've ever had, and I can't wait till next time.
